April, 1-st, 2010 in the Kharkov organization of the National union of artists of Ukraine the EXHIBITION of the BOOK GRAPHICS has opened. It is the action which has for an object to show a condition of achievements of the Kharkov artists in this area of graphic art for today. About 100 artists are submitted at this exhibition. Overwhelming majority of authors are graduates and students of the Kharkov state academy of design and arts (former Art-Industrial Institute ), in particular of faculties of graphics which Shevchenko V.J. head many years. In the beginning of 90th years on faculty of graphics the workshop of book graphics and illustrations was created, which all over again Bljaher O.P. has headed , and since 1992 Jahin I.I. supervises over this workshop. Teachers and students of faculty of graphic design of academy also successfully develop problems of book and journal design. Graduates of academy fruitfully cooperate with publishing houses of Kharkov, Kiev, Moscow and other cities. The address of an exhibition: m.
