March, 2008 the exhibition of works of participants of the design-action "Replicas. New age" passed in the Kharkov state academy of design and arts.
For this time by the starting point of designer fantasy the legendary dinner-wagon of the Adjustable Table E 1027 by French designer Eylin Gray. A dinner-wagon was constructed yet in 1927 and until now remains embodiment of idea of modern design thanks to the simplicity and brevity of form. And possibility to change the height of stoleshnitsi by one motion convinces that this table - the classics of constructivism. The design - action has two stages. First stage - grant of sketches - March - August, 2007 - where took away judge the most interesting works for further participation. Second stage of action - prosecution of the real object - September - December, 2007. For practical embodiment of ideas the "Dobrinya company" gave the original tables "Adjustable Table E 1027" to the participants. In a project 115 authors took part, by the their job performance of steel 207 rimeykov on the Adjustable Table E 1027 theme, from them 24 realized objects. Along with the Ukrainian designers, the works were represented by future designers from Iran and China. Works of participants can be looked on the exhibition " Replicas. New age", which passed in Dnepropetrovsk on the base of the Pridneprovskoy state academy of building and architecture 2007,12. And on the exhibition " Replicas. New age", which passed in Kharkov on the base of the Kharkov state academy of design and arts 2008,03. By the best work of judge acknowledged "Flowerbed" of architect from Dnepropetrovsk Alexander Bondarchuk. An author the recipient of an award by a two-week journey to Italy with the "Salone Internazionale del Mobile 2008" visit. |
