The honored worker of arts of Ukraine, a member of the National Union of artists of Ukraine, Alexander Postupnoj (creative pseudonym А1ех) was born in 1945 in Kharkov.
January, 3, 1997 the Decree of President Ukraine A. Postupnoj became the Presidential grant-aided student of art workers and arts.
the Ukrainian ecological Academy of sciences September, 12, 1997. A.Postupnoj was awarded the International premium "Slavs".
In November, 1998 he was awarded with the Certificate of honour of the Cabinet of Ukraine and has received an official message of thanks the President of Ukraine for the personal contribution to development of the Ukrainian fine arts.
In 1999 the artist was awarded Ordenom Vladimir " for development of spirituality " and has received personal gratitude of presidents of Poland and Bulgaria.
In 2000 has received personal gratitude and admiration of the President of USA for magnificent painting and its deep semantic value.
His pictures are in galleries and private collections of Russia, USA, Canada, Germany, Greece, France, Slovakia, England, Poland, Bulgaria, Austria.
