The idea of creation the new gallery, which would be placed in the walls of the
Kharkov state academy of design and arts, for a long time was
soaring in the air. The realization of this project was held at
participation of group of the Kharkov artists and stylists, on the
third of December 2002. The new gallery has received a name
"Academy". This name already in it self reflected with the concept of activity of new
formation.
The essence it was, that in an exhibition hall of gallery such objects
can be displayed only which could be treated as a work of art. Thus
the genre of products was not set, it could be the painting, graphics,
sculpture, ceramics, objects of subject design etc.
Such approach has defined a list of the authors, with whom the gallery began to
work. There were known Ukrainian artists and stylists. Their
creativity, in a way sign, just also has defined a direction of
activity of the gallery "Academy".
On walls have found a place picturesque operations of Victor Gontarov, Vachagan Narazyan, Yuriy
Shein, Alexander Zolud, Vera Chursina. Graphic shop was represented
by Pavel Makov, Natalia Mironenko, Elena Kudinova. Ceramics of
Zhanneta Soloviyova, sculpture of Katib Mamedov and Alexander Ridniy
were represented plastic art. The furniture from Vladimir
Bondarenko, Yuri Rintovt, Igor Ostapenko participate in an
exposition.
In the further gallery planned to work not only with known authors, but
also to promote creative growth and popularity of the young artists
and stylists, students and post-graduate students of Academy. The
display areas of gallery are given as for the personal and subject
exhibitions. Now about another side of gallery's activity of. Using
there a "geopolitical" occurrence, the gallery incurs commutative
functions. Powerful design and art potential of the graduates of
Academy is offered to the potential customers.
